What's good antivirus software that's easy to use and updates regularly?

ive been a norton guy all my life, and ive never gotten a virus on a computer ive owned in over 10 years with it. but ive noticed that my newest version really seems to slow my system down especially internet explorer so i often disable it when im using it. i love how its easy to use and updates automatically, whats a good program that would be similar but doesnt bog down the computer

The best is BitDefender. It blocks out nearly everything.

The next best is "McAffee VirusScan.

Norton is a little farther down on the list but I know its really good about updates.

I would say NOD32 and f-secure,they are both very excellent and have update every day.
