why it that when I run the LiveUpdate it always ask me to renew my subscription for Norton Internet Security? when it's already been renewed

Simple: because the software suite sucks. Or, for a softer explanation, Norton is a very VERY buggy programs, full of errors.

Norton is only good at using up most of your computer's resources. It offers less protection than ANY free antivirus/firewall. Get a free alternative (AVG or AntiVir). The best one is Kaspersky.

So, get rid of Norton and get a free antivirus for BETTER protection, or Kaspersky for the BEST.

The owner of Norton, Symantec, is very aggressive in their advertising. They, in my opinion, have one of the worst resource hogging anti-virus products I have ever seen and it is close to impossible to uninstall.

I now use a very friendly and inexpensive CA Anti-Virus and love it. Goodbye Norton...

And avoid free anything as there is always a risk. AVG is good, but CA AV is affordable and BETTER!
Call the Norton Service Center and ask them for help.
