So what is the best way see if there is a virus on the messenger and then how do your remove it.
Used Norton antivirus but it didn't show any virus?antivirus scan
try using avg free on line scanner, it seems to pick up alot of what Norton misses. most scanners will give you option to either remove the virus, or quarantine it. depending on whether the file is a vital file, i would choose to delete it. If your just not sure, then quarantine it.

You don't have a virus so why do you need to remove one????
I think Norton does not stop the viruses on messanger
