From experience, the prices dont vary in any store. The price for renewing is the same everywhere. But I suggest you buy the newer version. If you buy it on sale, you can get it for about the same price as renewing. That's what i've been doing. Norton internet security 2004, '05, '06, '07, and soon 2008. I think its the best way. Fry's electronics has really good deals on norton every once in a while.

well you can't renew it without money and also i wouldn't suggest nortan go to http://free.grisoft.com/ and click free basic protection and download that that is way better than nortan well in my opinion it is.
