Hi, You will struggle to do better than AVG for viruses and Zone Alarm for a firewall. They are both extremely good and better still they are free. If you wish to remove spyware Spybot S%26D(search and destroy) is very good, and free.

Just use AVG or Avast. Their world leading anti virus protectors that make their money from selling their software to companies, so it's bound to be good. Use Zone alarm for a firewall, the best there is. Most of it's been said in earlier comments.Take care
