He have been getting a lot of erotic popups, so i bought a firewall product will that stop erotic popups

It should if it has the pop-up blocker, you could just disable the popup on the google toolbar which you may have download from the google website.

I would still reccomend you to download a program to clear all spy which normally enter through your computer via the internet. Here is the link to the download ..its called Spybot.

a firewall only blocks ports on your computer, antivirus only scans for viruses , get google toolbar for IE , it has a popup blocker , I havn't had a popup in over 3 years of using it . , but first you need to quit going to porn sites ,if you don't want their popups , esspecially popcorn .net . it's fairly difficult to get rid of .but if you need assistence in getting rid of it , I will tell you how to do that. just post another question , about how to get rid of popcorn .net ,then I will answer shorty .
if u r using Internet explorer use google toolbar which will block all popups
