My symantec antivirus is off. I cant seem to enable it. Help.?

That is what a virus is best at doing, first it will disable or try to cripple your security software....... So right now I would go to an online scan.....beware of products that no one has heard of some can PUT a virus on your computer.....Stick to name brand companies....... You don't want to try to reinstall symantec yet, first you want to know that you are virus free, and an online scan will determine that for ya, good luck!

I would either try a reinstall of it or switch to a good free antivirus like Antivir, Avast or AVG.
