I reckon that viruses sometimes attack the giants like Norton and McAffee.
From my experience, F-Secure is by far the best I've seen, however, it also costs. I use AVG with spot checks via PCcillin's ''Housecall'' web based virus check.
Norton's website is great for finding removers as a last line of defense, but I wouldn't trust their software as the first line.

AVG hands down. The others dog down your CPU.

don't use norton as it really slows the computer down.
Norton is one of the best although it isnt much good if you have a slower computer
McAffee is one of the WORST
but one of the BEST over all is Grisofts AVG.... there is a free version and htere is a full version, if you are planing on paying for one of the others get the free version and try it see if you like it and then buy the full version... there are added extras and a few handy bonuses :)

Ah reckon FREE AVG,hands down, lil cowpoke.
McAfee is the best , it can track and delete every single virus.
