master boot records are just what the computer uses to know what to boot to when your computer first starts up. For instance, if you have windows xp, it knows to boot that up and go to a logon screen and all that. since you have two of those you might have two operating systems on there or recently reformatted or something like that. it doesn't sound like you have anything to repair so relax and enjoy it!
