Trying to download antivirus and anit-spyware, but download will not complete.?

Download will not complete, it says windows is running in safe mode. I don't know what to do to fix it.

* Restart the computer.

* Just after the POST diagnostics and memory count, start pressing the F8 key

* On the Startup Menu, choose Normal Mode

Windows XP

* Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.

* Ensure that the Normal mode option is selected.

* Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Normal mode.

* When you are finished with all troubleshooting, close all programs and restart the computer as you normally would.

Windows Vista

Windows Vista is similar to Windows XP for starting in Normal Mode.

restart your computer and go to normal mode instead of safe mode :)

the installation should be fine
Did you by any chance boot your computer in safe mode? Or is it booting in Normal mode. Try to run an online virus scan by TrendMicro or BitDefender to detect and remove any virus infection
when u start up keep pressing f8,using up and down arrows go into normal mode then start up
restart ur computer.....
