What you need to do is when you attach your USB drive to a port you need to: Open "My Computer" -%26gt; right click on the USB Drive (listed as removable storage)-%26gt; Select the option "Scan for Viruses". This will launch your computer's AV program and scan the USB drive for any virii. This is the only way one can scan a USB drive for virii. As said in the previous answer any good AV will do this.
